移動互聯(lián)網(wǎng)時代,5G建設、數(shù)據(jù)中心作為重要支柱,傳統(tǒng)的CPU、FPGA已無法滿足超大數(shù)據(jù)運算速度的需求,對電源供電提出了更高要求。放置在靠近LSI (如微處理器、DSP、FPGA、ASIC)的DC/DC轉換器POL電源如何匹配運用,接下來帶大家一起解密。
(一)6-20A:小體積、全國產(chǎn)化、精準可調——K12MT系列
LSI附近的電源設計需要面臨體積、兼容、精度等問題,金升陽POL電源K12MT系列可適配需求。該系列具有6A/12A/16A/20A帶載能力,輸出電壓在0.6-5.5V范圍內(nèi)精準可調。

(二)40-100A:超大電流、PMBus、高穩(wěn)定——KD12T系列
目前對于超大數(shù)據(jù)運算需求,電源供電有幾個特點,對電流需求大,電壓需求低,以及負載大跳變,金升陽KD12T系列可破局。
① 超大電流40-100A
供電電流與CPU的運算速度成正比,以i7為例,所需的供電電流在75A。金升陽POL電源KD12T系列有40A、60A、100A可選。
其中40A(產(chǎn)品KD12T-40A)可兩模塊并聯(lián)至80A;60A(產(chǎn)品KD12T-60A)雙路30A/單路60A,可兩模塊并聯(lián)至120A,可滿足絕大多數(shù)應用。
② PMBus 數(shù)?;旌?/font>
KD12T系列具備PMBus 數(shù)字通信協(xié)議功能,可實現(xiàn)工作狀態(tài)監(jiān)控,實時監(jiān)控讀取產(chǎn)品工況,如電壓、電流、溫度等。以及輔助失效分析,失效后黑匣子數(shù)據(jù)調用,可確定失效原因和失效前一刻的數(shù)據(jù)。
同時,好處還包括無需過多的外圍模擬器件,通過PMBus指令調節(jié)內(nèi)部參數(shù),提高一致性和穩(wěn)定性;而上位機也可調節(jié)參數(shù)(編程題→填空選擇題),讀取波形數(shù)值,降低了操作的繁雜程度。
③ 高精度,低紋波
部分芯片不僅大動態(tài)變化,di/dt(上升沿)也會達到非??斓乃俾?,峰峰值要求盡量控制在±3%以內(nèi),這對pol電源的精度、紋波、響應速度都有高要求。
KD12T系列滿足高精度輸出電壓低至±10mV,輸出紋波低至22 mV。以40A產(chǎn)品為例,Vo=0.6V時,紋波typ是6mV,動態(tài) typ是18mV,在業(yè)內(nèi)居于前位。
(三)應用案例:波分板卡
通信領域里,承載網(wǎng)可用于傳送各種語音和數(shù)據(jù)業(yè)務,常見設備如光通信設備。其波分板卡需要POL電源,配置3~60A,0.6~5.5Vdc,40A及以上,PMBUS功能。
波分板卡的電源方案可如下圖,用一個40A的POL電源KD12T-40A。該產(chǎn)品具備強力優(yōu)勢,包括寬輸入電壓范圍4.5-14.4V,低輸出可調電壓0.6-4.5V,高精度±2mV、低紋波4mV、低瞬態(tài)響應偏差18mV,效率高達 95%(7.5Vin,3.3Vout,100%Io,損耗僅5.9W)。
同時功能豐富,具備PMBus、PGOOD、輸出跟蹤、遠端補償、時鐘同步、多模塊并聯(lián)、電流均流等功能。

How to match and use the POL power supply of DC/DC converters placed near LSIs (such as microprocessors, DSPs, FPGAs, ASICs)? Next, let's decrypt it together.
(1) 6-20A: Small volume, nationwide production, precise adjustability - K12MT series
The power supply design near LSI needs to face issues such as volume, compatibility, and accuracy, and the K12MT series of Jinshengyang POL power supply can adapt to these requirements. This series has a load capacity of 6A/12A/16A/20A, and the output voltage is precisely adjustable in the range of 0.6-5.5V.
① Small volume
At present, improving power integration and miniaturization is an inevitable trend. (2) 40-100A: Ultra high current, PMBus, high stability - KD12T series
At present, there are several characteristics of power supply for ultra large data computing needs, such as high current demand, low voltage demand, and large load fluctuations. The Jinshengyang KD12T series can break through this situation.
① Ultra high current 40-100A
The power supply current is directly proportional to the computing speed of the CPU. Taking i7 as an example, the required power supply current is 75A. The KD12T series of Jinshengyang POL power supply has options of 40A, 60A, and 100A.
Among them, 40A (product KD12T-40A) can be connected in parallel with two modules up to 80A; 60A (product KD12T-60A) dual 30A/single 60A, can be connected in parallel with two modules up to 120A, which can meet the vast majority of applications.
② PMBus Digital Analog Hybrid
The KD12T series has the PMBus digital communication protocol function, which can achieve work status monitoring, real-time monitoring and reading of product conditions, such as voltage, current, temperature, etc. And auxiliary failure analysis, black box data call after failure, can determine the cause of failure and the data from the moment before failure.
Meanwhile, the benefits also include not requiring too many peripheral simulator components, adjusting internal parameters through PMBus instructions, improving consistency and stability; The upper computer can also adjust parameters (programming questions → fill in the blank multiple-choice questions), read waveform values, and reduce the complexity of operations.
③ High precision, low ripple
Some chips not only undergo large dynamic changes, but also reach a very fast rate of di/dt (rising edge). The peak to peak value is required to be controlled within ± 3% as much as possible, which has high requirements for the accuracy, ripple, and response speed of the POL power supply.
The KD12T series meets the requirements of high-precision output voltage as low as ± 10mV and output ripple as low as 22 mV. Taking the 40A product as an example, when Vo=0.6V, the ripple typ is 6mV and the dynamic typ is 18mV, ranking among the top in the industry.
(3) Application case: Wavelength division board card
In the field of communication, carrier networks can be used to transmit various voice and data services, with common devices such as optical communication devices. The wavelength division board requires a POL power supply, configured with 3~60A, 0.6~5.5Vdc, 40A and above, and PMBUS function.
The power supply scheme for the wavelength division board card can be shown in the following figure, using a 40A POL power supply KD12T-40A. This product has strong advantages, including a wide input voltage range of 4.5-14.4V, low output adjustable voltage of 0.6-4.5V, high precision ± 2mV, low ripple 4mV, low transient response deviation of 18mV, and an efficiency of up to 95% (7.5Vin, 3.3Vout, 100% Io, loss of only 5.9W).
At the same time, it has rich functions, including PMBus, PGOOD, output tracking, remote compensation, clock synchronization, multi module parallel connection, current sharing, and other functions.
